Masa in Echo park is quite famous for their reverse liposuction deep dish vegan pizza, but a more overlooked item on menu is truly a vegan weightless gem... the marinara cooked gnocchi. Simply order the gnocchi plain (vegan and no oil) with a side of steamed broccoli and slam them together and you now have the food of the gods. We survived on gnocchi throughout Italy. It cooks quickly and easily. Masa does a divine job of it. The portions are huge! The vegan friendly Firestone IPA compliments it nicely. Enjoy!
