Rip's Breakfast Nacho's @ Whole Foods

I've been awaiting anything from the Engine Two Diet to show up at our local Whole Foods and today at the Venice location I found Rip's Breakfast Nacho's which are simply oil free hashbrowns with low fat corn tortillas sliced up and lean veggie sausage with some tomato sauce.  While I'm not a fan of soy protein isolate (cancer fuel) these are a pretty decent addition to the crappy breakfast items at Whole Foods.  They could have done these with an oat based sausage to get a perfect score with me.  I'll still eat them when I see them, however!

out of curiosity what kind of veggie sausage did you find? Everything I have tried so far, homemade or purchased doesn't work for me. The homemade fall apart and the store purchased I wind up tossing!!

Whole Foods used Gimme Lean from LightLife. I will buy it on special occasions to make sausage biscuit tofu scramble on xmas morn, etc. The best thing I've found lately are Joe's Oat Patties, there's a link in my South Florida post, you can buy them online. They are healthy enough to eat pretty often.

thanks! I will look for them. Will also check out your other post. I have very few recipes that i need them for but my home made ones just fall apart in anything that has moisture in it.....
